Our Story

It all began in the 2020 pandemic. Our founders, Andrés Arroyo and Jorge Ortiz, discovered something that helped them navigate modern life and its challenges: CBD. It allowed them to sleep better, manage stress, and remember what was truly important.

With clearer minds, they began to research CBD and its benefits. That's when they learned the story that would change their lives forever: Mateo's.

Mateo was a 10-year-old Golden Retriever who was abandoned by his family when he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. After a lifetime of loyalty, he was left behind when he needed them most. But Mateo was not alone. A rescuer from Mexico City decided to adopt him and give him a second chance. He took many medications every day, but he was so sedated that his quality of life was virtually nil. Vets gave him only a few months to live.

After trying everything, they recommended that the rescuer try CBD, and so she did. The result was incredible: Mateo began to move with energy again, to enjoy his walks, and to wag his tail like never before. What was supposed to be just a few more months turned into 5 years of a full and happy life.

Mateo left us in January 2025, but his story changed the lives of many other pets. He was the reason Andrés and Jorge decided to dedicate their lives to animal welfare.

Thus, Waggy's was born, with a clear mission: to give pets the opportunity to live a happier and healthier life alongside the people who love them, with natural, effective, and science-backed products. What started as a dream has become a community full of humans who, like you, want the best for their pets.
